Otman Benchekroun

Hello! I’m a third year graduate student in Computer Graphics at the University of Toronto, supervised by Prof. Eitan Grinspun. I’m interested in physics-based virtual environments, and I work on the challenges that come from our desire to interact with and control them.

I received my Master’s degree at the University of Toronto, where I was co-supervised by Profs Eitan Grinspun and Alec Jacobson. Before that I received my Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering at McGill University, where I worked with Profs. Brett Meyer, Derek Nowrouzezahrai and Paul Kry. This summer, I’m on an internship at Meta, working with Dr. Philip Allen Etter and Dr. Maurizio Chiaramonte.
